Sam Sinjari's Plan for Belle River
What defines Belle River?
Belle River sits on the shore of Lake St. Clair and is one of Lakeshore's two oldest communities. Its marina, beach, and downtown are central to community life — and its lakefront location also makes flood and shoreline resilience a real concern.
What issues matter most here?
The future of the Belle River Marina (currently the subject of a municipal survey), main-street vitality, waterfront access, flooding and drainage, and traffic on the County Road 22 corridor.
Sam's plan for Belle River
Protect and enhance the waterfront and marina, support main-street revitalization through the Belle River BIA, prioritize drainage and shoreline resilience, and press for the County Road 22 / Manning interchange that affects everyone who drives the corridor.
Belle River has its own history and identity. As one of Lakeshore's 13 communities, it deserves a mayor who shows up here — not just at ribbon-cuttings.
