Sam Sinjari's public service has earned recognition across Windsor-Essex — most notably the Queen Elizabeth II Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship, the province's second-highest civilian honour.

- Queen Elizabeth II Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship (2025) — Ontario's second-highest civilian honour, first presented in 1973, recognizing exceptional long-term volunteer service. Recipients may use the post-nominal letters OMC.

In the community
Sam is the founder and host of Empowering Kindness, an independent weekly community radio program on AM800 CKLW running since 2021 that spotlights local charities and non-profits. He serves as chairman of the Community Service Projects Committee at the Rotary Club of Windsor, and has served on boards including Crime Stoppers of Windsor & Essex County and Hydrocephalus Canada.
