What is the Sam Sinjari Standard?
It is a set of five commitments for how the Mayor's office should operate — a public benchmark residents can hold Sam to.
- Full-time presence — Lakeshore is the only job; present at Town Hall and in all 13 communities.
- Accountability — public reporting on every commitment, in writing and video.
- Transparency — open decision-making and public dashboards on budgets and projects.
- Follow-through — seeing projects from inception to completion.
- Listen-first — residents set the agenda, not consultants.
Why put it in writing?
A standard only means something if people can measure you against it. By naming these commitments publicly, Sam invites residents to judge the office by results, not promises.
